Jeanie Hood is the Owner of Three French Hens. She started her business September 16, 2003 out of frustration. After building a beautiful French Country Home she was looking for unique furniture and antiques, after months of looking and not finding what she wanted Jeanie decided to open her own store. She purchased an old Hill-Behan lumber company building in Wildwood and started her adventure in the furniture and european antique business.
Jeanie also is owner of Quantified Tapered Systems which she started in 1996. She is the distributor of tapered roofing materials and assist Architects and Roofing Contractors in redesigning tapered roofing layouts. Jeanie keeps herself busy running both businesses.
Her career experience spans from working at Southwestern Bell, Schnucks, KEZK and KMOX radio and a large marketing firm on the East coast. Each business gave her the tools she needed to run her own business.
Jeanie was born in Kennett, Mo. and came from very humble beginnings. She that never stopped her from working hard and passionately to be successful.
Her spare time is spent with her beautiful daughter and granddaughters when she is not gardening and landscaping her 6 acres. Sometimes she even has time to play a round of golf but laughing says "not well."
