KEZK.com Contest Rules - Friday Foursome
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The KEZK “Friday Foursome” contest (the “Contest”) will begin at approximately 12:01am CST on Thursday, May 1st, 2008 and end on Friday, August 15th, 2008 at 12noon (the “Contest Period”).
b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Complete and submit an online official contest entry form available at http://www.kezk.com during the Contest Period. Complete the entry form with your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the online entry form.
c. Only one Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. KEZK is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. For purposes of these Official Rules, "receipt" of an online entry will be solely determined when the KEZK website server records the entry data. Any automated computer form reply or receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute actual receipt by KEZK of an online entry for purposes of these Official Rules.
d. All entries must be received by 11:59am CST on Friday, August 15th, 2008.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Employees of KEZK, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the St. Louis metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Listeners are eligible to win a KEZK contest only once every sixty (60)days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and KEZK will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. KEZK will also disqualify any entry received from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and will delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
a. KEZK will award up to one (1) Prize per week. The Prize includes: a certificate for three people for one round of golf (greens fee and cart only) including lunch or access to snack bar. Prizes will be awarded to various locations each week during the Contest Period (except for the week of May 19th and June 30th) as specified below. ARV of Grand Prize = $60.

Winners will be subject to the rules and regularions of each respective golf course. Winners must play at the specified course on the specified date. There are no substitutions or exceptions. All rain-outs will be played at the Golf Club of Wentzville (#9 Pro Shop Drive • Wentzville, Missouri 63385) at a date TBD.
c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KEZK, 3100 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 6 days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. KEZK is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that KEZK may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. All winners of gift cards will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the provider of the gift card. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of KEZK management with respect to the contest are final.
b. Prize winner(s) will be selected each week on Friday at 6am CST in a random drawing from all eligible online entries received by that time. All entries received after that time will go into the drawing for the following week’s prize. All non-winning entries will be transferred to the following week’s drawing. If the Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted within two (2) days after the drawing date, an alternate winner will be chosen through a random drawing from the remaining eligible online entries.
c. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED.
d. Winner will be notified by the KEZK Promotions Department by phone. Winner must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within 6 days of notification or prize will be forfeited.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the Contest, winner and guest agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, KEZK in its sole discretion may require contest winners and their guests to sign a liability release agreeing to hold KEZK, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. KEZK, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the KEZK website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. KEZK reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the station, any prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, KEZK reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with these contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of KEZK.
g. By accepting the Prize, the Winner represents that he/she understands that enjoyment of the Prizes awarded may contain some inherent elements of risk or accident or negligence. Winner represents that they recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during and after the event.
h. KEZK is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
i. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KEZK, 3100 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103.
6. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY
a. By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to KEZK Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at http://www.kezk.com. |
