How did you get started in radio?: I started at age 15...I basically bugged the station manager of my small hometown radio station every day until he gave up and hired me!!
St Louis Favorite Family Fun location: In the summer: Six Flags, and the Zoo. In the winter: Hidden Valley for an afternoon of skiing (or in my case: falling and wallowing around in the snow).
Favorite Wintertime event/activity: Coaching my son's basketball team
Favorite Summertime event/activity: Playing kickball (and having adult beverages) with my buddies in Des Peres Park…go Kickball Commandos!!
Favorite Ballpark food: Nachos (until I read that a regular nacho with cheese and sour cream is 1200 calories. Sigh.)
Favorite Restaurant: Dewey's Pizza in Kirkwood, Blue Water Grill in Kirkwood, Highway 61 Roadhouse in Webster
Favorite St. Louis Celebrity (other than yourself): Ed Goodman (you have to suck up a little when you're the new person)
Best Unkept Secret in St. Louis: Powder Valley Nature Center in Kirkwood. The kids love the indoor exhibits and interactive areas, and the trails are just the right length for a fun family outing.
Favorite Six Flags Ride: Mr. Freeze (10th tallest steel coaster in the country) and The Boss (4th fastest wooden roller coaster in the country at 66.3 mph). I'm a Roller Coaster Geek!
Lifestyle On a weekend afternoon, you'll find me ... depending on the time of year, watching my son play football, basketball or baseball.
Do you own an HDTV yet?: Yes…we have one HDTV…now all of the old TVs in the house feel left out and alone…I think there are more upgrades in our future!
Favorite Music Groups/Music Artists: My musical tastes are all over the road…I listen to all kinds of music…a few favorites are John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Al Green, Elvis, Ray Charles, BB King, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner, Rolling Stones, and Jamie Cullum. And thanks to my son, I have an appreciation for the Jonas Brothers.

Favorite TV show canceled in last 5 years you wish would make a comeback: I think it would be cool to do a “Friends” update…show us where the characters are now. I still miss that show!
